This is the second edition of a text developed for Japanese language volunteers and students
in local volunteer Japanese language classes that combines communicating
in an enjoyable manner while actually studying Japanese. Within the
20 units of the book are more than 60 topics of conversation (the
seeds of chatting: questions, illustrations, graphs, etc.) that can
be immediately used as they are. In this second edition, the contents of the book have been completely brought up-to-date, to allow the learner to chat about modern-day society. With its inclusion of 40 beginner-level
grammatical structures, it is also a good starting point for learners
to study Japanese in a proper way.
N.B.: This book has no translation into English, and so it does
require a speaker of Japanese to act as instructor or leader of
the conversation.
