Covering the 1,023 kanji required for Level 2 of the Japanese Language
Proficiency Test (JLPT), here is a textbook for those who have studied
elementary Japanese and wish to extend their Japanese ability comprehensively
through studying the kanji and kanji words they will need not only
for the JLPT but for everyday life. The kanji are not studied individually,
but as they appear together in individual kanji words, allowing, via
the use of examples, for the effective study of the kanji and kanji
words. All the words to be studied (2,920) are selected from the Level
2 Test. The 1,023 kanji and 3,660 examples are presented over 107
chapters, with a separate test section (11 tests) at the back of the
book. There is a separately sold kanji Writing Practice Book, which,
when used in conjunction with the main text, allows the user to study
not only the kanji's meaning and usage but also how to read and write
it. Each kanji in the Writing Practice Book is shown in a basic word
or expression, which is also translated into English, Chinese, Korean
and Portuguese. |
