This book concretely shows what is needed for the intermediate speaker to become an advanced speaker of Japanese. Based on the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) Oral Proficiency Interview (OPI) Guidelines, it demonstrates what abilities are needed of advanced speakers. It clearly specifies and makes the intermediate speaker aware of his/her skill weak points, and indicates points to be careful of, as well as things to consider, in order to become a good listener and speaker.
