This text is a collection of reading comprehension exercises aimed at those who wish to move on from the intermediate to advanced level in their Japanese studies. Divided into three parts, Part 1 is divided into seven sections, covering various strategies for breaking down a text to garner the information the reader requires. In Part 2 the reader utilizes the strategies covered in Part 1 to practice reading and to answer various questions, and, in Part 3, there is a practice section with texts in the same format as the Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students.
The learner can not only practice reading a wide range of material on various topics in preparation for the examination, but also improve his/her general reading comprehension.
