Continuing on from Chukyu e Iko (Getting to the Intermediate Level), a lower intermediate text, here is a book introducing 56 grammatical items needed for Level 2 of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test. Each chapter covers a wide number of subjects and consists of a 600 word essay, the study and practice of new words and grammatical structures, listening and writing practice and a Plus Alpha column at the end of each chapter. The eight chapters in the book should take between 64 to 80 hours to complete.
