Japanese Study Materials
Our Minna no Nihongo
Japanese-languages series, which emphasizes the acquisition of basic
Japanese sentence patterns and the practice of natural spoken Japanese,
has become a long-term favorite with students of Japanese through
providing everything necessary for a general introduction to the
language. With its range of ancillary texts, including translations
and grammatical notes in various languages, the series has been
widely adopted by students and teachers both in Japan and abroad
because of its ease of understanding and use.
Besides Minna no
Nihongo, we also publish other textbooks - notably the
Shin
Nihongo no Kiso series - for learners who want to
study on a short-term basis, people who want to learn expressions
they can use straight away in their daily lives, and those who want
to study things Japanese, starting at beginner level.
To meet learners’ various needs, we have published the J301
and J501
series of comprehensive Japanese language textbooks, along with
books arranged by topic,
a range of texts designed to foster practical competence in conversation,
composition and grammar, as well as texts designed to strengthen
Japanese language ability, geared to preparation
for the Japanese Language Proficiency Test.
We publish a range of reference books, including a commentary on
grammar used in everyday conversation, an audio reference book dealing
with both theory and practice, an analysis of incorrect usage, a
study of the history of Japanese language education and a reference
work on Japanese language education.for children entering Japan
