This book is a revised version of the contents of Minna no Nihongo Elementary II Second Edition Basic Workbook (published in 2013). The content has been tailored to the book Minna no Nihongo Elementary II Third Edition Main Text and consists of practice exercises for the 25 lessons (two pages for each lesson) and a test-style review after several lessons (three lessons + one total review) found in the main text.

Each lesson's practice exercises can be used either for classroom review or as homework, increasing learners' opportunities for practice while also allowing both learners and teachers to assess learning achievement from their respective perspectives. In addition, the review sections can be used as placement tests, achievement tests, and other forms of assessment.

This workbook includes perforated pages that can be easily torn out, allowing teachers to collect and check the completed exercises.

In this revised edition, some vocabulary and expressions have been updated.
