Tasuku Be-su de Manabu Nihongo Chukyu 1 Task-Based Learning Japanese for College Students Intermediate 1

This is a comprehensive teaching material for university students who have completed studying elementary-level Japanese. This is the first book in what will be a series of three for those aiming to acquire the Japanese B1 and B2 levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

Rather than simply learning a language, through interacting with classmates to complete tasks, the student can improve his/her Japanese ability and deepen his/her understanding and thinking about the theme.

Each lesson has a three-step task based on themes such as “Planning a Trip” and “Thinking about Differences". The vocabulary, sentence patterns, and expressions are all translated into English. Free web-based supplementary materials, such as audio content, practice sheets, and a teacher instruction book are also available.

Both themes and tasks become more complicated as the lessons progress, and by studying through this book, you can naturally mover from the upper beginner level to the intermediate level.

Through interacting with others using Japanese, this is a book that will help the student acquire the thinking ability to study at university.
