This book is a revised edition of Minna no Nihongo Elementary I Second Edition: Sentence Pattern Writing Practice Book (published in 2012).

Its aim is to help learners organize and reinforce their understanding of the vocabulary and grammar points studied in Minna no Nihongo Elementary I Third Edition Main Textbook through writing practice. Each lesson is carefully designed to facilitate visual learning through the use of illustrations, tables, charts, and other aids, and learners can review and consolidate what they have learned in each lesson using the Grammar Check Sheet.

All pages are perforated, making it possible for teachers to collect and mark learners' work, or for learners to check each other's answers.

For this revised edition, selected vocabulary items, expressions, and practice exercises have been revised and updated.
