Contents of the audio files
These audio files contain recordings of Japanese Pronunciation, Classroom Language, Everyday Greetings and Expressions, Numerals, and Sentence Patterns, Example Sentences, Conversation, Exercise A, Exercise B, Exercise C, and Practice Questions found in each lesson of Minna no Nihongo Shokyu I Third Edition, Main Text; and new vocabulary from Minna no Nihongo Shokyu I Third Edition, Elementary Japanese I Translation & Grammar Notes. Only Japanese is used.

Things to bear in mind
(1) Japanese Pronunciation
・The ん sound of the Table of 50 Sounds on Page 2 of the Main Text is not recorded here, because its precise pronunciation can vary depending on what comes after it.
・The vocabulary in 6. Accent on Page 4 of the Main Text is recorded including the attached が particle.

(2) Exercise A
To ensure smooth spoken Japanese in the recordings, there is some slight deviation in places from the written text.

(3) Exercise B
For greater ease of oral Japanese practice, the sequence of some phrases may differ somewhat from the Main Text. Also, the gender of illustrated figures and of recorded voices may differ.

(4) Exercise C
There are cases in which the gender of illustrated figures and of recorded voices may differ.

(5) Vocabulary (new words in each lesson)
With regard to おととい and きのう in Lesson 4, the pronunciation (intonation) differs slightly depending on whether they are used as adverbs or nouns. Both pronunciations, with adverbs coming first, are given in the recordings.

(6) Other
・The recordings do not contain pauses for student repetition. You will need to pause the audio file manually.
・Some words in square [ ] and round ( ) brackets used in the Main Text and Translation & Grammar Notes have not been included in the recordings.
