This book is divided into four sections, “Legal System,” “Specialist Jobs,” “Main Diseases and Symptoms Seen in the Elderly” and “Knowledge Required for Work,” and these are divided into 39 items in which short explanations of the knowledge needed at care sites is given.
The learner reads a passage and then has the task of organizing the information found in the passage into smaller units through answering various types of questions about the content of the passage. This enables the learner to confirm the meaning and make the knowledge he/she has read his/her own. At the same time, he/she can gain a more concrete image of the nature of the work. This method is also effective as a first step towards studying for the national exam at a future date.
