Shochukyu Reberu Rorupurei de Manabu Bijinesu Nihongo - Bamen ni Awasete Tekisetsu ni Hanaso - Pre-Intermediate-Level Business Japanese Study through Role-Plays Talking Appropriately to Fit the Situation

This is a business Japanese textbook for those at the end of elementary-level study.
It aims at the student learning the minimum amount of business Japanese required to function in the workplace, and to be able to communicate in a polite manner.

Made up of 14 chapters, the book focuses on a new foreign worker’s first year of work at a Japanese company. It places emphasis on fostering oral skills, and each chapter has a wealth of role-plays, including a Speaking Task section. After every few chapters there is a Combined Task section, to review what has been studied in the previous chapters. Also, in the Applied Task section, the student learns expressions that match the relationship with his/her speaking partner and can improve his/her Japanese proficiency. Many business situations presented in the book are combined with information related to Japanese culture and customs such as year-end parties and job transfers, allowing the learner to fully comprehend the situation in Japan.
